An Internal Chimney Inspection is:

• One where a technician is inspecting areas not visible in a Level 1 Inspection.

• The biggest difference is that we are running a camera through the chimney/flue and if possible, down the ash dump to determine if there is any hidden defects.

• It involves inspecting all of the components that are not hidden behind finished areas:

  • chimney exterior

  • attic area of the chimney

  • and basement/crawlspace area of the chimney!
